Brief Descriptions for Each Service

NCAT Expert Witness Reports

NCAT is the acronym for the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Courts/NCA provides a specialist tribunal service over a range of legal matters which include home building disputes.

Hit the Mark has over 20 years of experience in the procedures, policies and requirements of Court/s NCA hearings. Areas where Courts/NCAT may be required include:
Building work not carried out as agreed in the contract
Incomplete or defective home building work
Insurance claims
If you do find yourself using Courts/NCA, Hit the Mark not only provides the reports, we will advise you about the procedures which are necessary in the tribunal process. We are always available to assist you with any further information.

Drone Building Inspections

Hit The Mark offers advanced Drone Building Inspections that provide high-resolution aerial imagery to assess roof conditions, building facades, and hard-to-access areas safely and efficiently.
This service eliminates the need for scaffolding or elevated work platforms, reducing costs and safety risks. Ideal for both residential and commercial properties, drone inspections deliver accurate visual data that supports defect identification, maintenance planning, and insurance documentation.
The inspections are conducted by CASA-certified operators, ensuring full compliance with Australian aviation safety regulations.

Building Defects and Compliance Audits

Hit The Mark offers professional Building Defects and Compliance Audits to identify construction issues and ensure buildings meet Australian Standards and Building Codes. These audits are vital for builders, developers, and property owners seeking to rectify faults, verify workmanship, or prepare for handovers and legal proceedings.
The service includes comprehensive inspections with photographic evidence and detailed reporting on structural, safety, and regulatory compliance, helping clients avoid costly disputes and maintain property value.

Methamphetamine Inspections

Hit the Mark performs on-site testing to detect unsafe levels of methylamphetamine residue greater than 0.50 micrograms – the accepted Australian Standard for residential homes. If positive, swabs are taken and sent for forensic laboratory analysis to determine the exact level of contamination. This will determine what measures will need to be undertaken to decontaminate the meth residue. If levels are too high, more drastic action will need to be implemented, such as removal of curtains, carpets, wall or floor linings. If exhaust fans have been used, the roof space will require treatment. Ducted air conditioning or heating can spread meth residue to other rooms also which will need remediation.
